Alessandra Testai

Alessandra Testai
was born in the port city of Livorno, Tuscany. She began her singing studies at the age of 16 at Liceo Musicale Pietro Mascagni, subsequently attending the University of Pisa. She continued her singing studies in London at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Alessandra has her musical roots in the varied traditions of Italian song – opera, classical recital repertoire and the popular songs of the street and countryside.

Sharon Lindo

Sharon Lindo
studied at the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, eventually specialising in early bowed,stringed and wind instruments, and now performs, records and tours internationally with ensembles including The Sixteen, The King’s Consort, The Broadside Band, Red Byrd, His Majesty's Sagbutts and Cornetts and The Dufay Collective. She is a principal violinist for Devon Baroque and leads the Corelli Orchestra in Cheltenham.

Jon Banks

Jon Banks
is a multi-instrumentalist and musicologist with a wide range of musical skills and activities. Besides his abilities as a pianist and accordionist, he plays the harp, the Middle Eastern santur and qanun, the guitar, the mediaeval gittern and the tuba.

Robin Jeffrey

Robin Jeffrey
studied at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge and the Royal College of Music. A versatile performer on instruments of the lute and guitar families, he has performed and recorded with many of the well-known names in the early music field, including The Sixteen, The King’s Consort, the Purcell Quartet and Red Byrd.

Rob Levy

Rob Levy
is one of London’s most respected double bass players, Rob was educated at University College, London, and studied bass, classical guitar and jazz theory at Dornbirn Music School and the Bregenz Conservatory in Austria. Rob is a veteran of over forty West End musicals, including Five Guys Named Moe, Evita, Starlight Express, Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Blood Brothers, Cabaret, Wicked and La Cage aux Folles.
